Meet Kimberly

"I want you to feel safe exploring both the difficult and the hopeful parts of your experience. Both deserve space in the room."

Hi, I'm Kimberly, a Registered Psychotherapist offering in-person and virtual therapy to adults across Ontario. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, gender and sexual identity, relationship concerns, postpartum experiences, and the particular pressures of parenting. I also have experience supporting clients with learning disabilities, ADHD, and workplace and academic stress.

My approach is trauma-informed and mind-body oriented. I believe that the body holds as much of our story as the mind does, and that lasting change often requires working with both. I draw on Gestalt Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, weaving together what fits best for where you are and what you are working through.

I completed a five-year psychotherapy training program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, and hold certifications in DBT from the University of Toronto and in Trauma Counselling from the SickKids Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Health. That foundation gives me both depth and range as a clinician.

In our sessions, I aim to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and genuine care. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore what is hard, while also staying connected to what is possible.

Therapeutic Approaches

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy

  • Gestalt Therapy

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Somatic Therapy

  • Mindfulness-Based Interventions

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of my clinical work, being a mother to my two-year-old daughter is where most of my heart lives. I also love being outdoors, reading, swimming, and occasionally unwinding with a good series. These moments of rest and connection keep me grounded in the work..
