Meet Sarah
"Good therapy, to me, starts with one thing: feeling truly met. Not assessed, not advised, but genuinely met."
Hi, I'm Sarah, a Registered Psychotherapist offering both in-person and virtual therapy to individuals, adolescents, and families across Ontario. I work from a humanistic, client-centred foundation, which means I start where you are, not where a textbook says you should be.
My background in hospice and palliative care sets me apart in private practice. I have spent meaningful time walking alongside individuals and families facing end-of-life realities, profound grief, and the kind of loss that reshapes everything. That experience informs how I show up with every client: with steadiness, deep compassion, and a genuine comfort with the hardest conversations.
Beyond grief and end-of-life support, I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, concurrent disorders, and significant life transitions. Whatever has brought you here, I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of what makes the work meaningful. I place great care in building a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, and supported enough to move forward.
My approach is integrative and tailored to you. I draw on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and humanistic principles, using what fits best for where you are in your process.
Therapeutic Approaches
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Eclectic, integrative approach tailored to client needs
Outside the Therapy Room
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s going for walks, exploring new trails, or simply being in nature. I also love getting lost in a good book and finding moments to slow down and recharge. These small rituals help me stay grounded and present, both in and outside of my work.
